Washington — President Trump announced that he will deliver a prime-time address to the nation from the White House on Wednesday night at 9 P.M. EST. In a post on Truth Social, he expressed his anticipation, stating, “My Fellow Americans: I will be giving an ADDRESS TO THE NATION tomorrow night, LIVE FROM THE WHITE HOUSE… It has been a great year for our Country, and THE BEST IS YET TO COME!”

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt revealed that the president will reflect on his achievements since taking office in January and outline his plans for the next three years. This address comes as the administration aims to emphasize Trump’s record to voters amid what is expected to be a challenging midterm election year. Last week, Trump campaigned in Pennsylvania, highlighting his economic policies, with Vice President JD Vance joining him on the ground to advocate for the administration’s agenda.

Throughout the year, Trump’s addresses have often been prompted by periods of unrest, the most recent being on November 26, following the shooting of two West Virginia National Guard members in Washington, D.C. There have been several taped Oval Office addresses from Trump this year addressing various issues, including incidents of violence that have garnered national attention.

Historically, Trump has delivered only three live Oval Office addresses during his first term, none of which occurred at the end of a calendar year. His upcoming address presents an opportunity for the president to rally support and set a positive tone as he heads into the critical midterm elections.
