Maui’s Holiday Extravaganza: Festive Events You Can’t Miss!

As the holiday season approaches, we wish you joy, family, peace, and happiness, along with many reasons to feel grateful. Whether you’re planning a Thanksgiving dinner or gearing up for the festive shopping season, there’s a plethora of events happening in Maui worth checking out.

Hale Kau Kau is offering a free Thanksgiving meal on Thursday, November 28, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Stawasz Hall, St. Theresa Church in Kihei—everyone is welcome, and no questions are asked. If you’re interested in volunteering or want more information, you can call 808-875-8754.

On Saturday, November 30, the Hilton Waikoloa Village is hosting a Holiday Craft Festival from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., showcasing handcrafted creations from local artisans, with proceeds benefitting on-island charities.

The 2nd Annual Upcountry Winter Fest will take place at King Kekaulike High School on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., providing an opportunity for families to meet Santa and enjoy festive activities.

For those on Molokai, the Community Christmas Nativity Festival will be held at the Home Pumehana Main Hall on Friday and Saturday, celebrating the season with music and performances.

Comedy lovers will have a chance to enjoy “Whose Live Anyway?” at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center on Sunday, December 1, featuring improvisational comedy and musical performances by beloved cast members of the television show.

Lastly, enjoy a free performance by The Sugar Kittens and their special guests at the Historic Iao Theater in Wailuku on Monday, December 2, marking a wonderful way to kick off another week full of holiday cheer.
