Lewis Hamilton’s Emotional Tribute to Team After British Grand Prix Win

Lewis Hamilton was overcome with emotion after the race, saying, “I can’t stop crying! Since 2021, I’ve been waking up every day, fighting, training, and staying focused to work as hard as I can with this amazing team.”

Expressing his affection for his team, he added, “This is my last race at the British Grand Prix with this team before moving to Ferrari, so I wanted to win this so much for them. I love them, I appreciate them so much, and I recognize all the hard work they have put in over the years.”

Hamilton expressed his gratitude, saying, “I’m forever grateful to everyone in this team, everyone at Mercedes, all of our partners, and to our incredible fans. I could see you lap by lap as I was coming around, and there’s just no greater feeling than finishing at the front here.”

Discussing his struggle during the victory drought, the seven-time world champion reflected on the period between his 103rd and 104th wins. “It’s so tough, for anyone,” he noted. “The important thing is how you continue to get up and keep digging deep, even when you feel like you’re at the bottom of the barrel.”
