The NFL regular season concluded over the weekend, showcasing impressive performances from several former Penn State players. Leading the team in receiving yards, Washington secured five receptions for 87 yards along with a 23-yard touchdown catch. His performance marked a strong end to the season, as he finished with career highs of 58 receptions, 847 yards, and five touchdowns. Washington’s recent outings included notable performances of 145 yards against the Denver Broncos and 115 yards versus the Indianapolis Colts, leading the Jaguars into the playoffs as the No. 3 seed in the AFC.

Joining Washington in the spotlight was tight end Brenton Strange, who also made significant impacts throughout the season. Against the Titans, Strange recorded six catches for 52 yards and added a 7-yard touchdown reception to help secure Jacksonville’s lead early in the second quarter. Strange concluded the regular season with personal bests in receptions (46), yards (540), and three touchdown catches, demonstrating a consistent presence in the Jaguars’ offense.

Meanwhile, Jaquan Brisker of the Chicago Bears continued his defensive prowess despite a narrow 19-16 loss to the Detroit Lions. Brisker was tied for the team lead with eight tackles, marking his third consecutive game with at least eight tackles. His solid performance throughout the season resulted in a total of 93 tackles, seven pass breakups, and an interception, demonstrating a successful comeback year after dealing with injuries last season.

In New Orleans, tight end Juwan Johnson ended his season on a high note by leading the Saints in receiving yards during a close 19-17 defeat to the Atlanta Falcons. He recorded three receptions for 61 yards, including a spectacular one-handed catch.
