The San Francisco 49ers made several roster changes on Friday, highlighted by the addition of veteran offensive tackle Andre Dillard. Dillard, a former first-round pick by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2019, played the previous season with the Green Bay Packers, where he participated in 10 games, bringing his total to 69 career appearances in the NFL.
In addition to Dillard, the 49ers signed former Tennessee Titans tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere and cornerback Dallis Flowers. To make room for these new players, they waived defensive end Drake Jackson, offensive lineman Jalen McKenzie, and cornerback Tre Tomlinson.
On the same day, seven of the team’s draft picks finalized their four-year rookie contracts. The team also welcomed five undrafted free agents, enhancing their roster as they approach the rookie minicamp. The newcomers include Cincinnati running back Corey Kiner, Colorado State offensive lineman Drew Moss, Nebraska wide receiver Isaiah Neyor, BYU cornerback Jakob Robinson, and Washington defensive lineman Sebastian Valdez.
