Zendaya and Robert Pattinson take center stage as a couple facing challenges in the newly released trailer for Kristoffer Borgli’s upcoming film, “The Drama.” This marks Borgli’s fourth feature and his second English-language project, following the release of the Nicolas Cage film “Dream Scenario” by A24 in 2023.
In “The Drama,” Zendaya and Pattinson are joined by an impressive cast that includes Mamoudou Athie, Alana Haim, and Hailey Gates. A24 has announced that the film is set to hit theaters on April 3, making it the first of three films in which the two actors will appear together in 2024.
Their next collaboration will be in Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey,” scheduled for release on July 17. In this epic adventure, Zendaya will portray the Greek goddess Athena, while Pattinson will take on the role of Antinous, a suitor from Ithaca.
The duo is also set to reunite later in the year for “Dune: Part Three,” the final chapter in Denis Villeneuve’s acclaimed “Dune” trilogy. Scheduled for release on December 18, 2026, Zendaya will reprise her role as the fierce heroine Chani, while Pattinson is expected to join the cast as Scytale, an antagonist featured in Frank Herbert’s “Dune: Messiah.”
Recently, Pattinson was seen in the film “Die My Love,” directed by Lynne Ramsay, alongside Jennifer Lawrence. Meanwhile, Zendaya’s recent project, “Challengers,” was helmed by Luca Guadagnino, featuring co-stars Mike Faist and Josh O’Connor. Fans can also anticipate Zendaya’s return to HBO as she reprises her Emmy-winning role as Rue in Season 3 of “Euphoria.” Additionally, she will star in Disney and Marvel’s “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” set for release on July 31.
