However, a surprising twist occurs shortly after defeating Ganon. As Link and Zelda confront their challenges, Link is engulfed by a mysterious purple rift, leaving Zelda to take center stage. This marks the first time the main Zelda series acknowledges her as the protagonist, adding an intriguing dynamic to the storyline.
Zelda, depicted as a royal on the run after imposters seize her kingdom, teams up with a new companion named Tri. Together, they utilize a unique gameplay mechanic that allows them to mimic enemies and creatures to tackle various puzzles and obstacles. Unlike its predecessor, “Tears of the Kingdom,” which focused on building contraptions, “Echoes of Wisdom” emphasizes summoning a diverse array of creatures and characters, almost akin to Pokémon, to assist in battles and problem-solving.
Puzzles in the game offer multiple solutions. Players can approach a challenge creatively, whether it involves deploying flying creatures to reach distant objects or inventively stacking mattresses to create makeshift bridges.
