Zach Bryan’s Controversial Tweet Sparks Swiftie Uproar Before Social Media Exit

Country artist Zach Bryan, known for his hit “I Remember Everything,” deleted his account on the social media platform X on September 18 after posting a controversial tweet that sparked backlash among Taylor Swift fans. In the now-deleted tweet, he wrote, “eagles > chiefs. Kanye > Taylor. Who’s with me,” referencing the ongoing feud between Taylor Swift and Kanye West, as well as mocking her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Following the criticism, Bryan removed his account but issued an apology via his Instagram Story on September 19. He clarified, “For the record guys, I wasn’t coming for Taylor the other night. I was drunkenly comparing two records and it came out wrong. And I know there’s a lot of stuff that clouds around Ye, and I was speaking purely musically.”

Bryan expressed his appreciation for Swift’s music and acknowledged that he often tweets impulsively. He added, “Hope one day I can explain this to her. Twitter gets me in trouble too much, and I’d say it’s best to stay off it.”

He concluded his apology by expressing regret to any Taylor Swift fans he may have upset, stating, “Love you guys and I’m trying my best!”

Recently, Bryan released his album “The Great American Bar Scene,” which includes contributions from John Mayer, one of Taylor Swift’s rumored ex-boyfriends.
