WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Roxanne Perez faced a frightening ordeal earlier this year when she became the target of online threats. In June, social media platforms were flooded with menacing messages that included her personal information and a countdown to potential harm directed at her.

Adam Pearce, the General Manager of Raw, publicly addressed the situation on social media, assuring fans that WWE was taking the threats seriously and handling the matter appropriately.

Recently, Perez opened up about the incident in an interview with the San Antonio Express News, expressing her gratitude for WWE’s protective measures. She emphasized the alarming reality of such threats, stating, “I always heard about these stories but I never really expected them to happen, especially so soon.” She urged the public to be cautious about what they share online, highlighting the potential impact on individuals.

Perez praised WWE for their comprehensive security, saying, “WWE does a great job at protecting us… regardless of whatever’s posted online or whatever threats happened online, WWE has the best security in the world. So, yeah, I feel very safe with the WWE.”

She is not alone in experiencing such harassment, as other WWE talents, including Asuka and Liv Morgan, have also been targeted. Notably, this year has seen its share of alarming incidents, such as a break-in at the beach home of Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins, underscoring the need for strong security measures in the industry.

This situation serves as a reminder of the importance of online safety and the responsibilities that come with digital communication. Despite the challenges, the supportive environment created by WWE fosters a sense of safety and reassurance for its talents.
