WWE Sets Unannounced Premium Live Event in Indianapolis on All Out Weekend

WWE to stage new premium live event in Indianapolis on September 20, same day as AEW All Out

WWE is adding a yet-to-be-announced premium live event (PLE) on Saturday, September 20, in Indianapolis, Indiana, according to multiple sources familiar with the company’s schedule. The exact venue has not been confirmed, though Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis has hosted recent main roster shows and is a likely option.

The September 20 date places WWE’s main roster PLE on the same day as AEW’s All Out pay-per-view, which is slated for Scotiabank Arena in Toronto and scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. Eastern. WWE did not respond to requests for comment.

This isn’t WWE’s first foray into overlapping events with AEW this year; NXT premium live events have previously taken place on the same day as AEW shows such as Double or Nothing, All In Texas, and Forbidden Door. In related scheduling news, WWE announced two events for that weekend: Friday Night SmackDown on September 19 in Toledo, Ohio, and Raw on September 22 in Evansville, Indiana.

In addition to the potential Indianapolis venue, Paul Levesque is slated to speak at TEDSports Indianapolis in early September (September 9–11) at the Old National Centre. WWE’s broader Indiana partnership, announced in June 2024 with the Indiana Sports Corp, began with this year’s Royal Rumble at Lucas Oil Stadium and includes plans for future two-night WrestleMania and SummerSlam events at the stadium, as well as Raw, SmackDown, NXT and other WWE live events across the state.

What this could mean for fans is new options for marquee matchups over a single weekend, along with continued expansion of WWE’s live-event footprint in Indiana. As always, official announcements will confirm the exact venue, start times, and card details.

Additional notes for readers:
– The WWE event on September 20 is still unannounced and unpriced, with timing to be finalized.
– All Out will air from Toronto, with the start time confirmed as 8 p.m. ET for the pay-per-view portion.
– The overlap could influence scheduling dynamics and ticket availability as fans plan their weekend.
