The Women’s Premier League (WPL) is set to launch its fourth season with an exciting opening ceremony that promises to blend the thrills of cricket with the glamour of Bollywood. Defending champions Mumbai Indians are gearing up to face the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the highly anticipated opener. This event marks a significant celebration of the growing prominence of women’s cricket, as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) ensures a spectacular showcase for fans.

The opening ceremony is scheduled for Friday, January 9, at the renowned DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. As fans eagerly await the start of the season, the opening match will kick off at 7:30 PM IST, with the cultural festivities beginning an hour earlier at 6:30 PM IST. Viewers can tune in to the live broadcast on the Star Sports Network or stream it through the JioCinema app and website.

Adding to the excitement, renowned musical artist Yo Yo Honey Singh and Bollywood star Jacqueline Fernandez are set to headline the pre-match entertainment.
