Worlds 2025 in China: Star-Studded Partners and Iconic Arenas

China’s TJ Sports, the operator for League of Legends, has unveiled its partners for the 2025 League of Legends World Championship (Worlds 2025), set to take place in China. The championship is scheduled to kick off on Tuesday and run until November 9.

A diverse array of global partners will contribute to the event, including well-known brands such as AWS, HyperX, Mastercard, Mercedes-Benz, Hewlett Packard (HP), OPPO, and the Esports World Cup (EWC). Additionally, there are several Chinese partners who will support the championship. Notable strategic partners include the diary brand Momchilovtsi. The official partners from China comprise Durex, the e-commerce giant Jing Dong, Cotti Coffee, and beverage brand RIO. Special partners include the apparel brand Li-Ning, the pet food company ZIWI, and tech manufacturer Intel.

The tournament venues reflect China’s growing importance in the esports arena. Competitions will unfold at the Beijing Intelligence Esports Center, the Shanghai Mercedes-Benz Arena, and the Chengdu Dong’an Lake Sports Park Arena. The Beijing venue is notably the home ground for the Chinese League of Legends Pro League team Jing Dong Gaming, which is owned by event partner Jing Dong.

The knockout stage will take place at the Shanghai Mercedes-Benz Arena from October 28 to November 2, a venue familiar with hosting large-scale events, including NBA games and WWE shows. The arena boasts an 18,000-seat capacity and has previously welcomed esports events like Dota 2’s The International in 2019.

The grand finale is set to occur at the Chengdu Dong’an Lake Sports Park Arena, which was completed in 2021. This venue, with a seating capacity of 18,000 depending on configuration, has previously hosted the Summer World University Games and significant concerts, including the OneRepublic performance in 2023.

With such a robust lineup of partners and impressive venues, Worlds 2025 promises to be a landmark event in the esports calendar, further solidifying China’s status as a pivotal player in the global esports industry.
