Woody Harrelson is confirmed to present the prestigious Life Achievement Award to Harrison Ford during the upcoming Actor Awards, formerly recognized as the SAG Awards, scheduled for Sunday. This exciting revelation comes from The Hollywood Reporter, which has the exclusive scoop on the event.
Joining Harrelson in announcing awards will be an array of talented presenters, including Benicio Del Toro, Regina Hall, Allison Janney, Sarah Paulson, and Christoph Waltz. Notably, Del Toro has received a nomination this year for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for his work in “One Battle After Another,” which is also nominated for Best Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. Christoph Waltz is nominated for his role in “Frankenstein,” competing in the same category.
Harrelson, who will honor Ford with SAG-AFTRA’s highest accolade during the ceremony, will take the stage at the 32nd annual event, streamed live on Netflix at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT from the historic Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles. While Harrelson and Ford have yet to share the screen, there’s a notable connection through the “Star Wars” franchise—Harrelson appeared in “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” which serves as a prequel to Ford’s iconic portrayal of Han Solo.
