COLUMBIA, S.C. – The men’s basketball game scheduled for Saturday against LSU has had its start time adjusted from 6 p.m. to 1 p.m. (ET) at Colonial Life Arena. This change comes as a mutual agreement between both schools in light of anticipated winter weather conditions in the region.

Normal operations for game day will continue as planned despite the timing shift. Doors to the arena will open at noon, and all University-managed parking lots will be accessible two hours ahead of the new tipoff. Fans and students should use the main entrance located at the corner of Greene St. and Lincoln St., as alternative entrances will not be available this Saturday.

The game will be broadcast on SEC Network+, featuring play-by-play commentator Dave Weinstein alongside former Gamecock Stephen Clark as the analyst.

Attendees are strongly advised to exercise caution while traveling and in the parking areas and entrance of the arena, given the potential for slippery surfaces due to the expected precipitation. It’s recommended for fans to be patient, as staff presence may be impacted by weather conditions.

For the latest updates on road conditions in the Columbia area, fans can check the South Carolina Department of Transportation website.
