SEPTA has announced several service adjustments in response to the severe winter storm impacting the Philadelphia area. In a proactive measure, the transit authority suspended all bus routes at 10 p.m. on Sunday. Additionally, the Center City Trolley Tunnel (T Lines) closed at 9 p.m., and the D Line trolley is currently operating on a bus substitution, with service for the day concluding at 10 p.m. However, train service is expected to resume in the morning, contingent on weather conditions.

The M Line (Norristown High Speed Line) continues to operate until the end of its scheduled service, while Regional Rail services also ran until their predetermined conclusion on Sunday night. SEPTA emphasizes that during adverse weather, the situation may change rapidly, sometimes outpacing updates provided through mobile apps and real-time signs.

For those relying on SEPTA services, the agency encourages checking their website at SEPTA.org for a comprehensive overview of service status and for updates on specific routes at septa.org/alerts. Crucial information indicates that if a route is marked as suspended, all scheduled departure times published on apps and the website should be disregarded until the suspension notice is lifted.

To assist customers, SEPTA has extended the availability of their customer service agents, reachable at 215-580-7800. They will be available on Sunday from 8 am to 5 pm and Monday from 6 am to 7 pm. The agency assures that services will continue to run as long as it is deemed safe. Regular updates on each route’s status, including any suspensions and their restorations, are being communicated through septa.org/alerts.
