DiJonai Carrington and Myisha Hines-Allen have been included in the Dallas Wings’ injury report prior to their game against the Las Vegas Aces on Friday night. According to a source from DallasHoopsJournal.com, Hines-Allen partially participated in Thursday’s practice in Las Vegas and is officially listed as questionable due to a right knee injury. Conversely, Carrington fully participated in practice and is listed as probable for the game, although she is likely to play despite dealing with a left shoulder injury.
The Dallas Wings, currently with a record of 1-10, are set to take on the Las Vegas Aces (4-4) at Michelob ULTRA Arena, with the game scheduled for 9 p.m. CT and broadcast nationally on ION. In their previous match, Carrington played through her shoulder injury, contributing 11 points, eight rebounds, and four assists in a 93-80 loss to the Phoenix Mercury. She is averaging 12.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.2 steals in 26.9 minutes of play this season. Hines-Allen has also been a key player for the Wings, averaging 6.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.1 assists over 20.5 minutes per game.
The team continues to cope with injuries as they also miss Tyasha Harris, who is recovering from left knee surgery, and Teaira McCowan, who is currently competing for Turkey in the FIBA Women’s EuroBasket. McCowan is expected to return to the Wings in early July.
As the Wings approach this game, the participation of both Carrington and Hines-Allen will be crucial for their performance against the Aces. Fans will be hoping for a strong showing from the team as they seek to improve their standing in the league.
