Wild Unveil 25th Anniversary Jerseys for 2025-26 Season

Celebrating their 25th anniversary, the Minnesota Wild are introducing new jerseys for select games during the 2025-26 NHL season. The franchise, which began in 1997 after Minnesota gained an expansion team subsequent to the North Stars’ relocation to Dallas, will honor its historical legacy with these updated jerseys. The Wild first hit the ice on October 6, 2000, against the Anaheim Ducks, and have since made the playoffs 14 times with their standout achievement being a Western Conference Finals appearance in the 2002-03 season.

For the upcoming celebratory season, the Wild have planned four special games against the Winnipeg Jets, Nashville Predators, Colorado Avalanche, and Florida Panthers, where players will don the new anniversary jerseys. Fans are encouraged to participate in a “white out” by wearing white to these games, enhancing the festive atmosphere at the arena.

Additionally, a 25th anniversary book penned by Bob Showers will be available for fans starting October 11. Showers has a history of chronicling the rich sporting heritage of Minnesota, having penned books on both the North Stars and the Minnesota Twins, drawing from his time as an executive with the North Stars.

The new anniversary jerseys showcase a nostalgic return to the original number set and wordmark from the inaugural 2000-01 season, with added metallic gold striping embellishments—a nod to the team’s storied past and promising future. As the Wild celebrate this milestone, fans and players alike have an opportunity to reflect on the franchise’s journey while looking forward to what lies ahead.
