Cincinnati is bracing for a wet start on Tuesday, as the FOX19 NOW First Alert Weather Team has designated it as a First Alert Weather Day. Morning commuters should be prepared for rain and fog, though these conditions are anticipated to clear up by midday. By this afternoon, temperatures will rise into the upper 70s, bringing a warm and muggy feel.

A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for parts of the Tri-State area, including Fayette, Union, Franklin, Ripley, Dearborn, Butler, and Hamilton Counties. Residents in these regions should exercise caution while driving during the morning hours.

Looking ahead to Wednesday, heavier rain is expected, prompting another First Alert Weather Day. The rain could start as early as the morning commute for those south of Cincinnati. Significantly, there is a slight risk of excessive rainfall within the Interstate 275 loop and further south, which could result in flash flooding.

Additionally, there is a marginal risk for severe weather across much of the Tri-State area on Wednesday, with gusty winds posing a particular concern. Some regions could experience as much as four inches of rain by the end of Wednesday.

Residents are advised to remain vigilant and keep informed through local weather updates to ensure their safety during this period of adverse weather conditions.
