Wendy’s is embracing the Halloween spirit with the launch of its new Boo! Bag meals, aimed at “kidults” of all ages.
These limited-time meal bundles, which became available on October 21, include a Dave’s single hamburger, a small fry, a small chocolate Frosty, a glow-in-the-dark Bone Chiller Frosty figure, and a Boo! Book coupon booklet, according to a press release from the fast-food chain.
The Boo! Book offers various deals, featuring coupons for five free Jr. Frosty treats, plus an additional coupon for a $1.99 Wendy’s kids’ meal with any other purchase.
While the Boo! Bag meals are intended for customers of all ages, they also contribute to a good cause. The proceeds from each coupon book sold, whether included with a meal or purchased separately, will support the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, which aids in finding homes for over 113,000 children in foster care.
These new Boo! Bag meals follow the Frosty Frights Kids Meals that were introduced by Wendy’s in September. The kids’ meals are designed specifically for younger customers, offering a choice between a hamburger or four-piece chicken nuggets, along with a junior fry or apple bites, a kids drink, and a collectible toy with a Halloween theme.
Other fast food chains have also joined the Halloween festivities this year.
McDonald’s reintroduced its popular Happy Meal Boo Buckets on October 15. Characterized by their trick-or-treat-ready design, the updated buckets feature new monster graphics in colors like white, orange, green, and blue, and come with themed stickers for personalization.
Additionally, Dunkin introduced the Dunkin’s Munchkins Bucket on October 16, a reusable trick-or-treat bucket filled with a 50-count assortment of Munchkins Donut Hole Treats. The chain has also rolled out various new Halloween-themed menu items and merchandise, including the return of its DunKings tracksuits for those looking to emulate Dunkin superfan Ben Affleck this Halloween.
