Wendy’s new Krabby Patty Meal is sweeping across the nation, resulting in bustling drive-thrus filled with eager customers.
Curious about the hype, we decided to give this burger a try. Upon arrival, the drive-thru line was packed, indicating the meal’s popularity. The voice on the speaker was all business, clearly focused on keeping the line moving.
The Krabby Patty Meal is available in single, double, or triple sizes, allowing customers to indulge as much as they wish. I opted for the double, having skipped lunch and in need of a substantial meal.
However, my anticipation was dampened when I received the meal. The bag was plain, and the Frosty lacked any SpongeBob-themed touches. I had half-hoped for a whimsical surprise but was greeted with the typical Wendy’s packaging.
As for the much-talked-about “secret sauce,” it turned out to be a sweeter variation of Thousand Island dressing. Unfortunately, it lacked any mysterious flavor, despite the promotional theme.
The standout of the meal was undoubtedly the pineapple Frosty, which added a delightful tropical flair. Pairing it with fries proved to be a winning combination, showcasing the true highlights of the meal.
Regarding the availability of Wendy’s Krabby Patty Meal, an exact end date has not been announced. According to an employee in El Paso, Texas, the promotional meal will continue to be offered until instructed otherwise.
