Wendy’s is teaming up with Nickelodeon’s iconic character SpongeBob SquarePants to celebrate the show’s 25th anniversary in 2024 by launching the Krabby Patty Meal. This special meal is inspired by the most famous dish from the show’s Krusty Krab restaurant.
Available for purchase starting Tuesday, the Krabby Patty Meal is priced at $10.79 and features the Krabby Patty Kollab Burger. This burger includes American cheese, tomato, pickle, onion, and a unique “top-secret Krabby Kollab” sauce, all served on a toasted bun. The meal also comes with medium fries and a new Pineapple Under The Sea Frosty, which incorporates a pineapple mango flavored puree swirl combined with a vanilla Frosty base.
Wendy’s is known for its quality burgers, and the Krabby Patty Kollab Burger lives up to expectations despite not being the most extravagant creation. The burger’s taste has been likened to a cross between Wendy’s classic offerings and a Big Mac, enhanced by the inclusion of the secret sauce.
However, the Frosty was deemed less impressive initially, as the pineapple mango puree flavor felt artificial. Over time, though, the flavor improved, leaning more towards mango. Once the puree was finished, customers were left with a plain vanilla Frosty.
This limited-time offer is expected to be popular, with many fans wishing it would remain on the menu longer.
