Week 7 Fantasy Watch: Should You Sit RJ Harvey in PPR for the Broncos?

Week 7 of the 2025 NFL season is here, and this Sunday, all eyes will be on the matchup between the New York Giants and the Denver Broncos at 4:05 p.m. ET on CBS. The Broncos are on a three-game winning streak, bolstered by their recent victory against the New York Jets in London, which ended with a score of 13-11. While the win was somewhat gritty, it provided a significant boost to their confidence.

One player to focus on in this upcoming game is Broncos running back RJ Harvey, who played a minor role in last week’s win. Harvey managed only two carries for four rushing yards and added four receptions for 21 yards, which understandably left fantasy football managers wanting more. Initially, there was considerable excitement surrounding Harvey’s potential, but his contributions have dwindled as he finds himself in a backup position behind veteran starter J.K. Dobbins.

The UCF product has only participated in over 40% of offensive snaps once this season, and his prior fantasy value seemed to hinge on a fortunate receiving touchdown from that game. Currently, he serves as a reasonable handcuff option, but it appears that the opportunity for him to step into a starting role has likely passed, diminishing his viability as a consistent starter.

When it comes to fantasy football decisions in Week 7, it is recommended to sit Harvey in PPR leagues. His limited usage has not provided enough production to warrant a starting spot, whether in PPR or standard leagues.

As the Broncos continue to find their rhythm and build on their winning streak, Harvey’s role will be worth monitoring, but for now, he may best serve as depth on the fantasy roster rather than a lineup staple.
