Week 10 proved to be a scorching one for FLEX Finder, with standout performances that continued to strengthen our positive momentum. Cade Otton and Juwan Johnson delivered on tight end recommendations, while Tez Johnson found the end zone twice. Jerry Jeudy showcased skill reminiscent of his 2024 form. Although the running backs met expectations for production, their lack of touchdowns was disappointing—though Ray Davis, recommended only under the assumption that James Cook would sit out, did not meet expectations. With that said, let’s keep the winning streak alive.
Maintaining my guiding principles for this weekly article:
1) No quarterbacks will be recommended—you’re on your own there.
2) I will only suggest running backs under $5,000, wide receivers under $4,500, and tight ends under $4,000 in DraftKings’ DFS Slate. This way, we are in the realm of true FLEX players.
3) Any player who surpasses 50 yards or helps us secure a win is considered productive—less is more as we endeavor to identify outliers.
For running backs, consider:
Jacory Croskey-Merritt (WAS) at $5,000: Despite facing challenges in Week 10 and sharing the backfield with Chris Rodriguez Jr. and Jeremy McNichols, Croskey-Merritt has shown potential. The Dolphins’ run defense has struggled this season; thus, big plays on the ground will be crucial for the Commanders, positioning him well.
Tyjae Spears (TEN) at $4,900: After a tumultuous start to the season for the Titans, Spears is in a promising position against the Texans’ aggressive defense. With a risky game script in play, Spears could emerge as a strong asset, especially if Pollard takes a backseat.
Emari Demercado (ARI) at $4,500: Following a successful stint post-bye week with strong yardage, Demercado’s performance could shine, especially if the Cardinals alter their backfield dynamics due to injury.
Tyler Badie (DEN) at $4,200: With JK Dobbins potentially sidelined, Badie might see increased play. Given Denver’s possible need to pass frequently, he could serve as a valuable asset in a trailing game script.
In terms of wide receivers:
Christian Watson (GB) at $4,400: Despite minor missteps, Watson remains a key player against a struggling Giants defense and continues to be a focal point for the Packers.
Michael Wilson (ARI) at $3,800: Following Marvin Harrison Jr.’s appendicitis, Wilson will likely step up. He’s seen a steady increase in targets, making him a name to watch.
Luther Burden (CHI) at $3,700: With D.J. Moore’s absence due to injury, Burden could play a more prominent role—his recent performance suggests he’s ready to stand out amid the Bears’ offense.
Mack Hollins (NE) at $3,900: In light of Kayshon Boutte’s injury, Hollins may benefit from an increased target share. Given how the Patriots have fared against the Jets, this matchup could favor him.
For tight ends:
Zach Ertz (WAS) at $3,800: With reliable production in recent games, Ertz looks solid against a Dolphins defense that has struggled against tight ends.
Pat Freiermuth (PIT) at $3,200: Known to flourish against teams like the Bengals, Freiermuth could capitalize on a favorable matchup given the Bengals’ track record against tight ends.
Finding value in these players could lead to a successful fantasy week. The key is to identify those who not only meet expectations but also have the potential to exceed them. Here’s to continued success in your fantasy endeavors.
