According to the exec, the market for Warriors’ player Jonathan Kuminga is far from strong, while Porter’s is thriving, making negotiations tricky. Instead, it seems they are focused on building around their existing young players, which includes five rookies and three third-year players currently significant in their rotation.
Porter Jr. has been impressive this season, averaging 25.9 points on 49.1% shooting from the field and 40.4% from beyond the arc.
