A devastating house fire in Denham Springs on Wanda Street resulted in multiple fatalities on Saturday morning, prompting an ongoing investigation by local authorities. The blaze consumed the home, leaving witnesses in shock as they watched emergency vehicles respond to the scene.

Neighbor Kristen Saia, who has lived in the area for years, recounted the heartbreak of seeing the destruction unfold. She described the neighborhood as her family and expressed her sorrow for the victims, even though she did not know them personally. “It’s just not something you want to see on a Saturday morning,” Saia said.
