VILLANOVA, Pa. – The Villanova men’s lacrosse team has unveiled its 2026 schedule, announced by head coach Mike Corrado. The slate features 13 games, including six home matches, providing an exciting lineup for fans.

This year’s schedule introduces three new opponents and includes matchups against three teams that finished in last year’s Top 20 rankings. Coming off an 8-7 season in 2025, the Wildcats aim to capitalize on their recent success, having reached the BIG EAST title game three times in four years.

“We are thrilled about our 2026 schedule,” said Corrado. “We have added a few new and exciting matchups while maintaining several of our traditional opponents. This slate of games is designed to challenge our team and prepare us for a very competitive BIG EAST season.”

Villanova will kick off its season against the Penn State Nittany Lions, who made it to the Final Four last year, in State College. The home opener follows the next week against the Saint Joseph’s Hawks, featuring a first-year head coach in attendance.

Subsequent non-conference games will include trips to Rutgers, Delaware, and Drexel, concluding in early March with a visit to Lehigh. Mid-March will see high-stakes encounters against traditional rivals Penn and Towson at Villanova Stadium.

After a bye week, the BIG EAST season will commence with a matchup against St. John’s in Queens on March 28. Villanova will then host Denver and Providence, with the latter featuring a doubleheader alongside the women’s team.

The regular season wraps up with a significant game under the lights at Villanova Stadium against Georgetown. The BIG EAST Men’s Lacrosse Tournament is scheduled for April 30 and May 2 at Anderson Stadium in Providence, where the Wildcats aspire to continue their streak as the only program to never miss the tournament since its inception.

Fans interested in attending can purchase season tickets, with options for six-game plans and parking passes available through the Villanova ticket office. For updates, followers can connect with the Villanova men’s lacrosse program on social media platforms, including X, Instagram, and Facebook.
