Three players from the Minnesota Vikings are showcasing their lighter side in a creative push for Pro Bowl votes. Kicker Will Reichard, long-snapper Andrew DePaola, and punter Ryan Wright shared a playful video that features them stepping away from their typical purple uniforms to don striped blazers and straw hats reminiscent of classic barbershop quartets.

In the video, the trio snaps their fingers in rhythm while playfully gearing up for a singing performance. However, they quickly pivot to recognize their lack of vocal talent, with DePaola humorously admitting, “I can’t sing. But if there’s one thing I can do, it’s snap. Pro Bowl voting is ending soon, and we need your help.”

As they each announced their names and positions, the video concluded with their signature finger snapping and a camera zoom-in, adding to its charm.

For many players in the NFL, making it to the Pro Bowl is a significant ambition, especially for those whose teams are no longer in playoff contention. Currently, the Vikings, with a record of 5-8, find themselves in the fourth place in the NFC North standings, making a miraculous playoff run unlikely. Nonetheless, these specialists aim to enhance their individual accolades with a potential spot in the Pro Bowl.

Wright has been impressive this season, punting 51 times and leading the league with a remarkable 77-yard punt. He ranks 10th nationally with an average of 48.8 yards per punt and has successfully placed 37.3% of his kicks inside the opponent’s 20-yard line.

Reichard has also distinguished himself, holding an eighth-place NFL ranking in field goal percentage at 91.7%. He’s been especially productive from long range, converting eight out of ten field goals from over 50 yards, and he has made all 23 attempted extra points. Moreover, Reichard has made NFL history by being the first kicker to achieve four field goals over 59 yards in a single season, his longest being an impressive 62 yards.

This light-hearted approach not only highlights the players’ skills but also fosters community engagement as they seek the votes to secure their spots in the Pro Bowl, demonstrating their dedication to both their craft and connection with fans.
