The Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) has unveiled an exciting lineup for this summer’s concert series at East Hastings Park. From August 16 through September 1, attendees can enjoy performances from a diverse array of artists, making this year’s PNE Summer Night Concerts a musical highlight.
The event will kick off with Counting Crows, a beloved roots-rock ensemble known for hits like “Accidentally in Love” from the “Shrek 2” soundtrack. This will be followed by performances from Southern rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd and iconic rock band Foreigner on August 17 and August 28, respectively.
Fans of contemporary chart music will also be well catered to, with special performances by hip-hop star Flo Rida on August 22, dancehall artist Sean Paul on August 26, and pop sensation Meghan Trainor on August 30. In addition, Vancouver’s own Marianas Trench and Canadian rock staple Tom Cochrane will represent homegrown talent on August 24 and 29.
The lineup also features notable indie acts, including Wilco on August 27 and Rainbow Kitten Surprise on September 1, ensuring a range of musical styles that appeal to various tastes.
