The Fiji Police Force has officially confirmed the appointment of Kasiano Vusonilawe as the Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations. This decision, announced by Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu, comes after a thorough evaluation by a promotion board composed of both internal and external members, emphasizing a merit-based approach to leadership within the force.
With over 32 years of esteemed service, ACP Vusonilawe hails from Nasealevu Village and has held several pivotal positions in the police force. His extensive experience includes roles as Station Officer, Officer in Charge of the Nausori Policing District, Divisional Manager for Community Policing, Divisional Police Commander for the Eastern Division, Director of Training, and Director of Operations. Vusonilawe’s career began in 1993, and he further honed his skills by completing a Command Course at the Malaysian Police Institute for Leadership and Management.
Commissioner Tudravu highlighted that the meticulous selection process reflects the Fiji Police Force’s dedication to professionalism and the cultivation of strong leadership.
