Although Chicago fought back to bring the score to 67-66 with just over two minutes left, they were unable to score afterwards. Burton secured the game with four straight free throws in the closing seconds.

The Valkyries provided an injury update before the game, noting that Monique Billings, who missed the last matchup due to a sprained ankle, will be re-evaluated in three weeks. Cecilia Zandalasini, who recently scored a career-high 18 points, did not participate in this game.

This victory reinforces the momentum the Valkyries are building as they progress through the season, showcasing their capability to adapt and thrive even when injuries challenge their roster.
