The United States men’s basketball team will play its final group game against Puerto Rico in the 2024 Paris Olympics on Saturday in Villeneuve-d’Ascq, France.
Team USA (2-0) currently leads the Group C standings with four points following a 103-86 victory over South Sudan on Wednesday. Puerto Rico (0-2) sits in fourth place with two points after a 107-66 loss to Serbia.

Team USA secured a 104-83 win over Puerto Rico on Saturday.
Edwards scored a game-high 26 points off the bench, while Tatum added 10 points and 10 rebounds. Alvarado led Puerto Rico with 18 points and three assists.
The United States finished Group C play with a perfect 3-0 record and will be the No. 1 seed in the knockout round, which begins with the quarterfinals on Tuesday.
End of third quarter: USA 87, Puerto Rico 59
Team USA widened its lead by outscoring Puerto Rico 23-14 in the third quarter. Edwards added seven points to bring his game-high total to 19.
Alvarado led Puerto Rico with an additional five points, raising his team-high total to 18.
Halftime: USA 64, Puerto Rico 45
Team USA took control by outscoring Puerto Rico 39-16 in the second quarter. Edwards led with 12 points off the bench, while James contributed eight points and six assists.
Alvarado had a game-high 13 points along with two assists for Puerto Rico.
End of first quarter: Puerto Rico 29, USA 25
Puerto Rico took the lead with an 11-0 run late in the first quarter. Alvarado recorded nine points and two assists.
Tatum and Edwards each scored six points for Team USA.
