The U.S. Olympic Men’s Ice Hockey Team has unveiled its roster, featuring a selection of prominent players from the NHL, including Dylan Larkin from the Detroit Red Wings and Auston Matthews of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Other notable names include Charlie McAvoy (Boston Bruins), J.T. Miller (New York Rangers), and Brady and Matthew Tkachuk, representing the Ottawa Senators and Florida Panthers, respectively.

Bill Guerin, the general manager of the team and president of hockey operations for the Minnesota Wild, expressed his enthusiasm for the roster, acknowledging the challenges faced during the selection process. “We’re excited about our team and congratulate everyone named today. It was incredibly difficult for our management group to get to the final roster, and that’s a credit to so many in our country,” he said. Guerin highlighted the contributions of grassroots organizations that support the sport.

The U.S. team had previously showcased their skills at the 4 Nations Face-Off last February, where 21 players represented the country, and four players played a crucial role in winning gold at the 2025 IIHF Men’s World Championship.

The Olympic Games will see the U.S. team kick off their competition against Latvia on February 12, at 9:10 p.m. local time (3:10 p.m. ET) at Milano Santagiulia Ice Hockey Arena, bringing excitement and anticipation for both players and fans alike. As they prepare to take the ice, hopes are high for a strong showing as they aim for Olympic glory.
