Amit Prasad triumphed in the men’s singles competition after a challenging final against Yusuf Khan from Lautoka. The men’s tournament was particularly dynamic, witnessing the early exits of several highly-ranked players in the elimination rounds. Notable quarter-finalists included David Aitcheson, Munesh Kumar, Dan Vinod, Surend Prasad, Simon Ratnam, and Semesa Naiseruvati. Amit secured his spot in the final by defeating David Aitcheson in a tense semifinal, while Yusuf Khan advanced by outplaying Simon Ratnam.

On the women’s side, Elizabeth Moceiwai claimed victory by defeating Bowls Lautoka’s Benau Bennion in their final match. The semifinals boasted a strong lineup with Elizabeth, Aki Khan, Benau Bennion, and Dinusha Chandima, both finalists celebrated their first appearances in the gold-medal match.
