Compass Offices has announced the pre-launch of the prestigious “Compass Office WTC annex,” set to open in March 2025 in the vibrant Minato-ku district of Tokyo, Japan. This new business center is a significant addition to their range of flexible office spaces, inviting prospective clients to book guided tours ahead of its opening.
This project marks a collaborative effort with the World Trade Center Building Center Co., Ltd., aimed at revitalizing the Hamamatsucho area. Kazuya Morikawa, Country Manager of Compass Offices Japan, emphasized the center’s role not only as a flexible workspace but as part of a broader development initiative that includes the main World Trade Center building, scheduled for completion in 2027. The goal is to create a dynamic business ecosystem that enhances the area’s value and liveliness.
The WTC annex will feature the entire 11th and 12th floors, totaling around 1880 square meters (560 Tsubo). Clients will enjoy spectacular views of the iconic Tokyo Tower from club lounge spaces, alongside well-equipped meeting rooms featuring high-tech amenities. The design includes private offices scalable for teams of 1 to 50 individuals.
Key features of the WTC annex also include advanced Business Continuity Planning (BCP) technologies. With safety in mind, the building is equipped with vital resources like HiDAX-e seismic dampers, solar panels, and backup generators, ensuring operational capability for up to 72 hours in emergencies.
Additionally, Compass Offices offers tailored solutions through their Compass Enterprise Solution. This service allows larger organizations to personalize their office experience within the business center, featuring options for executive suites, team offices, meeting rooms, and more, precisely tailored to fit the varying needs of businesses.
Conveniently located in Minato-ku, the WTC annex provides excellent connectivity to public transport and a host of amenities. Its proximity to Hamamatsucho Station, linked directly to Haneda International Airport via monorail, positions it as a prime destination for international business travelers.
Overall, Compass Offices continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to the Japanese market. The upcoming WTC annex will be its fourth location in Japan, following the successful opening of a flagship center in Osaka earlier this year. As it expands, Compass Offices remains optimistic about the growth potential in Japan, aiming to deliver flexible workspaces that meet the evolving needs of businesses.
In summary, the planned WTC annex represents an exciting development in Tokyo’s office landscape, designed to cater to the diverse demands of modern businesses while fostering community and collaboration. This initiative showcases the resilience and adaptability of the working environment, essential in today’s ever-changing economic climate.
