Unlocking the Secrets of Black Ops 6: Beta, Zombies, and a New Warzone Map!

New information has emerged regarding Multiplayer, round-based Zombies, and an innovative Nuketown-inspired Warzone Resurgence map for Black Ops 6.

Treyarch has made significant updates to the Multiplayer core modes for Black Ops 6, revamping Domination and Hardpoint and introducing a brand-new mode called Kill Order during the Beta. Here’s what you need to know about the Multiplayer beta alongside new gameplay insights for Zombies and Warzone.

The Black Ops 6 Beta will take place over two weekends:

The first weekend is from August 30 to September 4, exclusively for players who have pre-ordered the game. It begins at 10 am PT on August 30 and ends at 10 am PT on September 4.

The second weekend runs from September 6 to 9 and is open to all players, starting at 10 am PT on September 6 and concluding at 10 am PT on September 9.

Participants in the Multiplayer Open Beta can earn cosmetic rewards by achieving Player Level milestones, which will carry over when Black Ops 6 officially launches on October 25.

Digital pre-orders will grant the Reflect 115 Camo Pack, along with a variety of other pre-order benefits. The rewards for pre-ordering the Digital Edition include the Reflect 115 Camo Pack and the Woods Operator Pack, along with early access to the Open Beta.

Players opting for the Vault Edition also receive the Hunters Vs. Hunted Operator Pack, BlackCell Season 1, and a Mastercraft Weapon Collection, as well as the GobbleGum Pack. Those pre-ordering this edition will gain access to these rewards during the Black Ops 6 Beta.

The Reflect 115 Camo Pack features the Reflect 115 Mastery Camo, usable in Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone, along with three Flawless Aetherium Crystals and three Legendary Aether Tools for use in Modern Warfare Zombies.

In terms of gameplay, Treyarch is enhancing player mobility in Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone with new Omnimovement mechanics. This new feature enables players to link various combat maneuvers fluidly, such as sliding, diving, and an improved supine prone, all while allowing for full 360-degree movement.

For Zombies enthusiasts, Black Ops 6 will include multiple maps at launch, such as Terminus and Liberty Falls, both featuring multi-stage Main Quests. Players will explore locations like the Liberty Lanes bowling alley and Olley’s Comics, each offering traditional Perks from the Zombies experience.

The new Warzone Resurgence map, Area 99, was showcased during Call of Duty: Next. Designed to optimize movement and visibility, this map is set in the Nevada desert and was built atop the Echo Ridge Weapons Station, a secretive government site established in the 1950s. Abandoned after a reactor leak, Area 99 ties back to the lore of Nuketown.

Black Ops 6 is set to launch on October 25 for PS5 and PS4.
