Unlocking Luxury: How Jaclyn Sienna India Redefines Travel for the Elite

Jaclyn Sienna India began her boutique travel concierge service, Sienna Charles, in 2008 with the mindset of “fake it until you make it.” Early on, she faced skepticism, even from her husband, as she received inquiries from potential clients while she had no actual customers. “I had to tell them we were sold out this season with high-net-worth individuals,” she recalled.

Fast forward sixteen years, and India’s strategy has significantly paid off. She now serves numerous high-profile clients, including former President George W. Bush and celebrity singer Mariah Carey, offering her services to those earning over $100 million annually. This raises the question: What does India provide that her affluent clients cannot secure for themselves?

India emphasizes that her success lies in genuine care and understanding the needs of her clients. “My clients are incredibly powerful and connected,” she said, “but it’s care that truly drives results.” Drawing on her five years of experience as a server, she highlights the importance of attention and empathy in her work.

Having built a vast network of more than 2,000 contacts across the hospitality sector—including luxury hotels, yachts, and fine dining establishments—India’s connections enable her to create customized travel experiences. She believes her unique skill is grasping her clients’ visions based on minimal guidance and realizing them.

India notes that her mission is not just to secure seats at luxurious venues but to guarantee that her clients’ experiences are truly meaningful. For instance, she expressed disinterest in promoting the renowned French Laundry restaurant in Napa Valley, deeming it less exciting compared to other unique offerings in the area.

Her bespoke services often result in extraordinary experiences, such as arranging a candlelight dinner at Versailles or a brunch on the Arc de Triomphe. Moreover, India strives to incorporate personal interactions into these experiences. She has organized meals with notable personalities, including the Hermes and Fendi families.

Occasionally, her clients desire simpler comforts. For example, when Bush visited Ethiopia, she ensured he had familiar items like peanut butter and non-alcoholic beer, along with a warm welcome from local children in Texas Rangers caps.

“I genuinely care about people,” India stated. She dedicates her days to conversations with everyone from cab drivers to restaurant staff in pursuit of unique opportunities for her clientele. “Luxury is not just about extravagant experiences. It’s about authenticity, and my clients crave that,” she concluded.
