Small-business owners are invited to explore federal contracting opportunities during a “Lunch and Learn” webinar titled “Responding to Sources Sought Opportunities” on Thursday, Oct. 17, from noon to 1 p.m. Janean Forsyth will lead the session, which is organized by the Wyoming APEX Accelerator in collaboration with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Registration for the free webinar is available online.
The Wyoming APEX Accelerator, part of the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network at the University of Wyoming, specializes in assisting businesses with government contracting.
Sources sought notices are preliminary announcements aimed at gathering market research for federal agencies to identify potential vendors, particularly small businesses, that can meet specific requirements.
Attendees will gain insights into how government contractors evaluate which opportunities to pursue. The discussion will emphasize how small-business owners can leverage their understanding of market research, procurement policies, and their own capabilities to make informed bidding decisions.
Janean Forsyth, the program manager for the Wyoming APEX Accelerator, brings expertise in compliance, training, human resources, and equal employment opportunity, and is dedicated to supporting small businesses in navigating government contracting.
