HansJet has unveiled a new fractional membership programme focused on the Pilatus PC-12, designed for clients who typically fly over 50 hours a year. The announcement was made at the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) 2025, with plans for the programme to officially launch later this month.
Eric Weisskopf, the general manager of HansJet, highlighted the growing popularity of the PC-12 in Europe, citing its exceptional short runway capabilities that allow access to approximately 3,000 airports and private strips across the continent. This capability positions HansJet to expand the community of Single Engine Turbine Operations (SETOps) throughout Europe.
The new programme will initially include four PC-12s, featuring both the PC-12NG and NGX variants, with plans to add three more as demand increases. It comprises two key offerings:
1. **HansJet Pinnacle**: A no-investment membership that guarantees aircraft availability within 48 hours and fixed pricing based on flight time, eliminating ownership risks and asset depreciation. Members will also benefit from complimentary concierge services.
2. **HansJet Distinction**: This fractional ownership model allows clients to own a typical 25% share in a PC-12, with full operational access for those committing to a five-year term, with the option to extend for an additional five years. This plan also includes comprehensive management and operational support.
Hans Cauchi, the founder of HansJet, expressed enthusiasm for the programme, emphasizing that it provides the advantages of private aviation without the need for a significant upfront investment, allowing clients to pay only for the actual flight time.
This initiative reflects the increasing trend toward flexible aviation solutions, appealing to a growing demographic of private flyer clients seeking convenience and accessibility in air travel.
