Unlock the Secrets of Black Ops 6 Beta: What to Expect!

The latest updates on the Black Ops 6 beta, including multiplayer modes, round-based Zombies, and a new Nuketown-inspired Warzone Resurgence map, have been revealed at Call of Duty: Next.

In Black Ops 6, Treyarch has reexamined the classic Multiplayer core modes, made significant improvements to Domination and Hardpoint, and introduced a new mode called Kill Order, available during the Beta. Here’s the essential information regarding the Multiplayer beta, along with details about round-based Zombies and Warzone.

The Black Ops 6 Beta operates over two weekends:

The first weekend runs from August 30 to September 4, exclusively for players who pre-ordered the game, beginning at 10 am PT and concluding at 10 am PT on September 4.

The second weekend, open to all players, is scheduled from September 6 to 9, starting at 10 am PT and ending at 10 am PT on September 9.

Players can earn various cosmetic rewards by reaching Player Level milestones during the Multiplayer Open Beta. These rewards will carry over to the full version of Black Ops 6, launching on October 25.

By pre-ordering digitally, players will gain access to the Reflect 115 Camo Pack, as well as the following benefits:

– Reflect 115 Camo Pack
– Woods Operator Pack*
– Early Access to the Open Beta**

Opting for the Vault Edition provides all previous rewards plus:

– Hunters Vs. Hunted Operator Pack
– BlackCell Season 1
– Mastercraft Weapon Collection
– GobbleGum Pack

Players who pre-order the Vault Edition will have access to the Hunters Vs. Hunted Operator Pack and the Mastercraft Weapon Collection during the Black Ops 6 Beta. The Reflect 115 Camo Pack includes the Reflect 115 Mastery Camo, applicable in Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone, along with three Flawless Aetherium Crystals, three Legendary Aether Tools, and three Ray Gun Weapon Cases for immediate use in Modern Warfare Zombies.

New gameplay enhancements termed Omnimovement are set to improve player mobility across Multiplayer, Zombies, and Call of Duty: Warzone. This feature enables players to fluidly execute combat maneuvers such as sliding, diving, and an upgraded supine prone maneuver, all with complete 360-degree movement freedom.

Black Ops 6 will also deliver an extensive Zombies experience, featuring maps such as Terminus and Liberty Falls at launch, alongside offers for additional maps in future Seasons. Players can explore locations like Liberty Lanes bowling alley for Stamin-Up or visit Olley’s Comics for Quick Revive while enjoying the same Perks available in Terminus.

Introducing the Area 99 Resurgence map for Call of Duty: Warzone, this new Warzone map made its debut at Call of Duty: Next. Area 99, designed for optimized movement flow and visibility, is rooted in the Black Ops universe and set in the harsh terrain of the Nevada desert. It was previously a top-secret government facility established in the 1950s, hidden from the public near the original Nuketown testing site, but was later abandoned due to a reactor leak.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to launch on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on October 25.

*Pre-orders for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III / Call of Duty: Warzone on the designated platform are necessary to redeem the Woods Operator Pack and Reflect 115 Camo Pack. These are sold or downloaded separately and must be redeemed by October 25, 2025.

**The actual launch dates and platform availability of the Open Beta are subject to change. The minimum duration for the Open Beta is two days and is available for a limited time only. An internet connection is required, and a PlayStation Plus subscription may be needed for Multiplayer Beta.

***Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is needed to redeem the rewards. This is sold separately.
