Dhirendra Nand, the president of the Shree Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha, has called upon Sanatan followers across the nation to embrace unity as they enter 2026. In his message, he emphasized that harmony and cooperation are pivotal in enhancing faith institutions and making a positive impact within the community.

Mr. Nand articulated that the teachings of Sanatan Dharm promote the idea that all humanity forms one family. He stressed that real unity should be founded on mutual respect and understanding, rather than mere uniformity. He stated, “Placing Dharm above division would allow communities to work together more effectively and strengthen their service to Fiji.”

Encouraging the younger generation and families, he urged them to commence the New Year with discipline and determination. He underscored education as a vital means for empowerment, asserting that character serves as the bedrock of enduring success. “Young people should remain grounded in Sanatan values while engaging with modern education and opportunities,” he said.

Mr. Nand pointed out the significant role young families play in preserving culture and shaping the future by instilling values such as respect, honesty, and service within their homes. In his New Year’s message, he extended blessings for peace, wisdom, and strength for the year ahead, while acknowledging the efforts of the Fiji Sanatan Sabha’s National Executive Council, Board of Trustees, branch leaders, volunteers, and supporters.

He further highlighted the Sabha’s commitment to fostering unity among branches nationwide, enhancing the participation of youth and women, and reinforcing education, cultural preservation, and awareness of religious programs. Mr. Nand’s vision for the upcoming year is one of collective growth and strengthening community bonds, all anchored in the rich traditions of Sanatan Dharm.
