Unexpected Split: Why Leo and Brittany Skipped Mexico in “Love Is Blind” Season 7

In Season 7 of “Love Is Blind,” not all couples experienced the same journey, particularly Leo Braudy and Brittany Wisniewski. After getting engaged in Episode 5, they were not among the six couples selected by producers to travel to Mexico for a romantic getaway. Instead, they opted for a trip to Miami after discussing the matter briefly post-engagement.

A title card in the episode revealed their fate: “Brittany and Leo were not one of the six couples chosen by producers to continue their journey in Mexico. They took their own trip to Miami and broke off their engagement weeks later.”

In an interview, Leo addressed the unusual circumstances surrounding their absence from Mexico. When asked why they were not included, he suggested that inquiries should be directed towards the production team. He further clarified that they were informed after the engagement reveal that they would not be going to Mexico.

Despite their relationship being highlighted through their time in the pods leading up to their engagement, many viewers might be surprised by their outcome. When probed for any prior knowledge regarding their exclusion, Leo reiterated that it was something only production could clarify.

Although Leo and Brittany’s relationship ultimately did not endure, they parted amicably and retain a friendship. Leo expressed, “We still really care for each other… we can just talk forever.” He noted that they frequently communicate, sharing hours on the phone, indicating a strong bond remains despite their breakup.

Upcoming episodes for “Love Is Blind,” Season 7, will be released on Netflix, with Episodes 7-9 available on October 9, Episodes 10-11 on October 16, and Episode 12 on October 23.
