The unreleased sequence, now animated, showcases motion capture technology employed by Tarantino and Thurman to faithfully translate her performance and facial expressions into a digital environment. The new narrative, titled “The Lost Chapter: Yuki’s Revenge,” takes place after the Bride’s fierce battle with O-Ren Ishii (portrayed by Lucy Liu) and the Crazy 88 gang in Tokyo. This segment introduces Yuki, sister of the infamous Gogo Yubari (played by Chiaki Kuriyama), who seeks revenge on the Bride, leading to an intense confrontation that ends in a violent chase.
A teaser for the scene highlights the initial clash between Yuki and the Bride, quickly escalating into a dramatic gunfight and a thrilling car chase, alongside familiar Fortnite characters like Peely, the anthropomorphic banana, and the Skull Trooper.
The animated scene will debut in Fortnite on November 30 at 2 p.m. ET, available for players to discover in the top row of the game’s Discover section. Players eager to experience it can join 30 minutes prior to the show. Additionally, starting December 5, fans can catch the new scene on the big screen during a limited theatrical run of “Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair,” which merges both Volume 1 and Volume 2, revisiting Tarantino’s original vision.
As an exciting bonus, Fortnite players who purchase tickets for the opening weekend from select theaters in the U.S. will receive a code to unlock the Gogo Yubari Outfit starting on November 30, blending the allure of “Kill Bill” with contemporary gaming culture.
