Kylian Mbappe, the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner with France and one of the most coveted forwards in football, is expected to make his debut for Real Madrid. Additionally, 18-year-old Brazilian striker Endrick Felipe may also feature in the game.
Real Madrid recently captured their 15th UEFA Champions League title with a 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in June.
Prior to the Super Cup final, Los Blancos participated in three friendly matches, recording two losses and one victory.
In contrast, Atalanta secured the Europa League trophy for the first time in their history last season, defeating Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 in the UEFA Europa League final in May.

Historically, Real Madrid leads the head-to-head matchup with a 2-0 record against Atalanta, having met in the Champions League round of 16 in 2021. Real Madrid won narrowly 1-0 in the first leg before defeating Atalanta 3-1 at home.
A victory in Warsaw would grant Real Madrid the distinction of being the only team to win the UEFA Super Cup six times, as they are currently tied with FC Barcelona and AC Milan with five titles each. This will be Atalanta’s first-ever appearance in a final.
