STORRS, CT — The top-ranked UConn women’s basketball team is gearing up for its Senior Day celebration on Sunday at Gampel Pavilion. Five remarkable seniors—Ice Brady, Caroline Ducharme, Azzi Fudd, Ayanna Patterson, and Serah Williams—will be honored during a special postgame ceremony.

Over the past five seasons, UConn boasts an impressive record of 159 wins against just 21 losses, which includes three appearances in Final Fours and two runs to the national championship game, securing one title. Currently sitting undefeated with a record of 28-0 and 17-0 in Big East play, UConn welcomes Providence, which holds a record of 14-14 and 7-10 in the conference. The Huskies previously faced the Friars on December 31, winning decisively with a score of 90-53.

With the Big East regular-season championship already secured, UConn will enter the upcoming conference tournament as the No. 1 seed in March. Meanwhile, Providence enters this matchup riding a four-game winning streak, with Sabou Gueye leading the team, averaging 15.3 points per game.

As UConn celebrates its seniors, the future looks bright as the team remains focused on their championship aspirations. The Huskies’ dominance in the conference continues to create excitement among fans as they aim for another successful tournament run.
