Redshirt senior Paige Bueckers was the standout player, scoring 23 points while contributing six assists and three rebounds. This marked her third 20-point game of the season.
Freshman Sarah Strong also made a significant impact, posting 13 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and an impressive six steals, while redshirt freshman Jana El Alfy added 12 points to the team’s total. The Huskies jumped to an early lead, outscoring the Beavers 22-7 in the first quarter and maintaining control of the game with a 42-19 lead by halftime.
Freshman Allie Ziebell showed her prowess by scoring all of her seven points in the second quarter, helping solidify UConn’s dominant performance. Sophomore KK Arnold played a critical role on the defensive end, recording three steals along with five assists. Additionally, graduate student Azzi Fudd, in her second game in a year, achieved a personal best with five assists and collected four rebounds.
