UCF vs Houston Space Game 2025: New Uniforms Set the Stage at the Acrisure Bounce House

The UCF Knights are set to host the Houston Cougars in the much-anticipated annual Space Game on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 8 p.m. This matchup will take place at the Acrisure Bounce House and will be broadcast live on FS1. Celebrated for its homage to the university’s founding mission in support of the U.S. space program, the Space Game has become a beloved tradition since its inception in 2017.

The Knights recently unveiled new uniforms for this year’s clash, adding excitement to an already thrilling matchup. The Acrisure Bounce House, which boasts a capacity of 44,206, including luxury accommodations, has become a fortress for UCF football, having cost approximately $55 million to build.

Tickets for the Space Game are still available, with resale prices starting as low as $22. However, fans should act quickly as the demand is expected to grow as the game date approaches. The highest-priced tickets are going for $453 for a seat in Row 1.

UCF’s history in the Space Game includes impressive victories, such as their recent win against Arizona, 56-12, in November 2024. Overall, UCF holds a strong record, with their inaugural game on October 14, 2017, where they beat East Carolina 63-21. Since then, they have faced various opponents, showcasing their prowess on the field.

The Knights will enter this game looking to rebound after a tough loss to Baylor, where they fell 30-3. Coach has indicated the importance of matching Houston’s physical style of play, stressing that their commitment and energy will be crucial for success. Similarly, Houston is also looking to bounce back following a surprising defeat to West Virginia, which ended their aspirations for a college football playoff berth.

Certain factors will be vital for UCF’s performance:
1. Fast starts will be critical for both teams, as evidenced by their previous games.
2. UCF has shown defensive strength, particularly in holding leads through the third quarter.
3. Houston’s ability to execute their passing game could pose a challenge, as UCF’s defense has proven solid against aerial attacks this season.

As the Knights aim for bowl eligibility with a current record of 4-4, the Space Game provides an opportunity to enhance their chances and keep their season alive. The stage is set for what promises to be an electrifying encounter as both teams seek a much-needed victory.
