UCF Unveils 2026 Big 12 Baseball Schedule With Marquee Series

ORLANDO – The Big 12 Conference has unveiled its 2026 baseball league schedule, confirming UCF’s matchup lineup for the season. The Knights, sporting their Black and Gold, will be competing against 10 conference opponents in a total of 30 games, with five series hosted at John Euliano Park. Among their challengers are eight NCAA Tournament teams from the previous 2025 season, including notable teams like Arizona, Oklahoma State, and TCU.

The Knights will play host to several strong competitors, including Oklahoma State, Arizona, Cincinnati, Kansas State, and Arizona State. On their travel itinerary, they will face TCU, West Virginia, Kansas, Utah, and Baylor.

In the recently concluded 2025 season, UCF recorded a 29-26 overall record and a 9-21 mark in conference play, placing them 13th in the Big 12 following their second year in the conference.

The conference schedule kicks off with a series against Oklahoma State at John Euliano Park from March 13-15. The Cowboys concluded the last season with a 30-25 record, finishing seventh in the Big 12 standings. Oklahoma State has a storied legacy, tied for the most Big 12 Tournament titles, and reached the NCAA Regional for the 12th consecutive year before their elimination by Duke.

Following this opening series, the Knights will travel to Fort Worth, Texas, to compete against TCU between March 20-22. UCF has historically performed well against TCU, taking two of three games in their previous season. TCU, which ended last season with a 39-18 record, continues to be a formidable opponent, having participated in the NCAA Tournament for 18 of the last 21 seasons.

March 27-29 will mark an exciting first as UCF takes on Arizona, the reigning Big 12 Tournament Champions, at home. Arizona had a stellar season, finishing fourth in the Big 12 and making a deep run in the NCAA, ultimately reaching the College World Series.

The Knights will subsequently hit the road again to face West Virginia from April 3-5. The Mountaineers concluded their 2025 season with an impressive 44-16 record, clinching the regular-season title in the Big 12 and advancing to the NCAA Tournament Super Regional.

Later, UCF will take on Kansas from April 10-12. The Jayhawks finished as runner-ups in the conference and secured a spot in the NCAA Regional after an exceptional season, matching their program’s record for wins.

After returning home for a series against Cincinnati from April 17-19, the Knights will venture to face Utah from April 24-26, marking a significant moment as the Utes host their inaugural season at their new stadium, Charlie Monfort Field at America First Ballpark.

The following series against Arizona State from May 1-3 will be the first meeting between the Knights and the Sun Devils, who concluded the last season with a solid 35-22 record.

UCF’s final conference series will see them face Kansas State at home from May 14-16. The Wildcats gained commendable momentum, earning back-to-back NCAA Tournament selections for the first time since 2010-2011.

Excitingly, the Big 12 Conference Tournament, presented by Allstate, will relocate to Surprise, Arizona, in 2026, taking place May 20-23 at Surprise Stadium, the spring training home for the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals. The tournament will feature the top 12 teams from the conference after what is expected to be a thrilling regular season.

UCF’s full 2026 schedule will be released soon, but it’s clear that the Knights are set to face a challenging slate packed with competitive teams. UCF, as a proud member of the Big 12, is dedicated to enhancing student-athlete experiences while aiming to elevate the visibility and reputation of the university on a national level.
