Tyler Childers Sparks Buzz with Snipe Hunter Ahead of 2026 Tour

Tyler Childers is making waves once again with his latest album, Snipe Hunter, which debuted on July 25th and has quickly become one of the year’s most talked-about country albums. While many fans—and critics—have praised Childers’ bold direction with producer Rick Rubin, there has been notable backlash from some longtime followers of the singer known for his hit “Feathered Indians.”

Despite the mixed reactions, Snipe Hunter has achieved significant commercial and critical success, debuting at #7 on the Billboard 200, securing the #1 spot on the Americana/Folk Albums chart, and landing in the #2 position on the Top Country Albums list. In an impressive showing, Childers recently received three Grammy nominations for Best Contemporary Country Album, Best Country Song for “Bitin’ List,” and Best Country Solo Performance for “Nose On The Grindstone.”

In light of this success, Childers is gearing up for his Snipe Hunt tour, which will kick off on April 23, 2026, in Dallas, Texas, at the Dos Equis Pavilion. The tour will cover 14 cities, concluding on October 3rd in Portland, Oregon. Audiences can look forward to performances in Birmingham, St. Louis, Seattle, and a notable event at Chicago’s historic Wrigley Field on July 12th, where Childers will perform alongside Jon Batiste and the alt-country band Wednesday.

Sharing the stage with talented artists like Evan Honer, Scott T. Smith, and Wednesday, Childers promises a dynamic live experience, known for his energetic presence and captivating performances of songs from his recent album as well as fan favorites. The tour will also feature various presale opportunities: Citi Card holders can access tickets starting December 9th, while artist presales will begin December 10th, with general sales opening to the public on December 12th.

With his reputation for delivering electrifying live shows, Childers’ Snipe Hunt tour is must-see for country music enthusiasts. If he’s performing nearby, it’s an experience that promises to engage and thrill audiences.
