Tyler Childers, the Grammy-nominated songwriter and musician, is set to embark on an extensive headline tour in 2025, which includes a performance in New Orleans on April 3. The tour will also showcase songs from S.G. Goodman, another Kentucky songwriter, as Goodman is slated to join Childers as the opening act for several dates, including the concert in New Orleans. Childers gained recognition in the country music scene with his impactful albums “Purgatory” in 2012 and “Country Squire” in 2019.
In a commitment to giving back, Childers will donate $1 from every ticket sold to the Hickman Holler Appalachian Relief Fund (HHARF) and the organization REVERB. Established by Childers and Senora May, HHARF focuses on raising awareness and providing financial support for philanthropic initiatives in the Appalachian region. Meanwhile, REVERB works to mitigate the environmental impact of live music and engages fans through carbon impact programs.
To enhance accessibility for fans, Childers has implemented a system designed to help concertgoers purchase tickets at face value. Purchasers unable to attend will have the option to resell their tickets at the price they initially paid via Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange. Childers has made arrangements to ensure tickets are mobile-only and cannot be transferred, thus protecting the resale system.
The presale for tickets will begin on Tuesday, November 19, at 10:00 a.m. local time, while the general sale will open on Friday, November 22, at the same time. Fans can register for presale now until November 17 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
