Two women were taken into custody yesterday in connection with burglary incidents in Nadi and Lautoka. According to police reports, the arrests occurred when two officers on patrol noticed one of the suspects behaving suspiciously on Naviti Street. After questioning her, the officers escorted her to the Lautoka Market Post for further investigation.
Following information provided by the first suspect, police were able to locate and arrest the second individual near Vitogo Parade. A subsequent search of both suspects revealed several electronic gadgets, cash, and various other items believed to be stolen from both Nadi and Lautoka.
Presently, both women are being held in custody as authorities continue their investigations into the matter. This incident highlights the ongoing efforts of local law enforcement to address crime in the community.
